ANNUNCIATION TARGETED!
Friends, last Saturday evening, Annunciation was targeted by two anti-Catholic protesters who violated the sanctity of the holy Mass by entering the church. They committed the deplorable act of disrupting the holy sacrifice of the Mass while yelling bigoted, belligerent and disparaging remarks against our holy Catholic faith and our Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Fortunately, we had men of the parish who stood up and quickly ejected them from the church.

In light of this and the upcoming "Pride Month", I have decided that it is necessary for Annunciation to invest in greater security measures. It is imperative that all the members of our parish family feel safe to attend holy Mass and to participate fully in the life of our parish here at Annunciation.
